Of Fashion, Free Thoughts and Festivities
‘Banjarans’, ‘Nomads’, ‘Khanabadosh’, 'Hippie', ‘Bohemians’, ‘Wanderers’.
The words maybe different but the spirit, thinking and attitude behind these words is the same.
I closely relate myself to these words as I am a free-spirited, positive person who follows her own set of rules. I am the happiest when I am alone, listening to my favorite music and walking aimlessly.
My attitude towards life is reflected strongly in my dressing. I hate to follow rules when it comes to fashion and wear what I am comfortable in. So, when the time came of dressing up for festivities, I steered away from the usual anarkalis and embroidered salwar suits.
Incorporating few elements from the colourful Banajarans of India, I put together this outfit which was comfortable, dressy and perfect to pair my silver jewellery with.
Hope you guys like the pictures as much as I loved shooting them. This photoshoot was indeed a breeze as every shot was executed perfectly by Prem Soneji, my photographer (photographer details below).
